Reviews By Jon Salem from Cleveland, OH Posted Dec 15, 2014 This was a very bad experience. The son, Steve is a good guy, but the business owner, Don, his dad, does very shoddy work and they fight over the process. The got sand into my instrument panel, pitted the windshield, and uses galvanized hardware store screws on the moldings. They actually used a piece of wood to hold down the battery, along with the wrong screw jammed into the threads. Some brand new GM original moldings were dented. A-1 refused to provide any receipts for the motor rebuild and supplies etc. The timing was off by 6 degrees and the car barely ran. It ran when handed over. The paint was a mess and they agreed to repaint it, but I had to cover transport. Unfortunately, they did not pull all the molding, so it looks like a re-paint. Most of the interior work was good except for a miss-mounted door panel that was thus damaged and the paint work on the dash - sloppy with runs etc. And the cost went way over quote. I could go on and on. I have pictures. If anyone wants to discuss, feel free to call or email 4salems@att.net.
